Amidst Charles Spencer's Ongoing Dispute With The Royal Family Regarding Princess Diana, He Attends Prince Harry's Invictus Games Event, While King Charles And Prince William Reportedly Claim To Be 'Too Busy'

Although Prince Harry did not have his father or brother accompanying him at St Paul’s Cathedral, he received the support of his uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, during a special service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Despite speculation that Harry would attend the event alone due to the Royal Family’s decision not to participate, Diana’s siblings – Earl Charles Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes – stood in solidarity with him, as reported by the Mirror.

Royal expert Tom Quinn believes this display of unity “speaks volumes about where their loyalties lie.”

Tom Quinn stated: “Harry may have cut a lonely figure at St Pauls, but he did have one other family supporting him his mother’s family. Diana’s sister Lady Jane Fellowes was there as well as her brother, Earl Spencer”.

In contrast, the Spencers are said to have harbored longstanding discomfort with the Royal Family following the tragic death of Princess Diana, particularly due to perceived mistreatment by Prince Charles.

Princess Diana tragically passed away in a car accident in Paris in August 1997. Royal commentator Tom Bower indicated that lingering bitterness over the incident underscores the significance of the Spencers’ support for Prince Harry.

Bower stated, “The fact that the Spencers were out in force for Harry on this visit speaks volumes about where their loyalties lie. Like Harry, the Spencers still see the Royal Family, to some extent, as the enemy.”

“If anyone is taking sides, the Spencers will always take sides with Harry simply because they feel he was hard done by and Harry hugely appreciates their support.”
