Singer Afunika Warns Nexus Entertainment's Boss

A few days ago, music promoter Robinson of Nexus Entertainment exchanged assertions with some of Zambia’s popular singers.

The singers in fussy are: Drimz, T-sean, Jemax and Afunika whom Robinson accuses of not being indebted to those who have helped them in their careers.

Through his Nexus Entertainment agency, Robinson says, besides having signed a managerial contract with musician T-sean, he (Robnison) went ahead to help him go through the whole Covid 19 period.

It should be remembered that, during the Covid19 pandemic, all creative persons were off stage, and so they were not earning from stage performances.

“Nexus Entertainment paid for T-sean’s food, fuel, shelter etc for over a year at a time when the singer had lost all his household items after fire had gut his apartment”, said Robinson.

Robinson went further to claim, he has been funding musicians including Afunika, Jemax and Drimz whom he says, never earned Nexus Entertainment a single coin yet he spent over ahalf a million Kwacha promoting their music.

When the above comments reached Afunika, he simply warned the wanna-be celebrity promoter – Robinson to stop making lies or else he would expose him soon.

“We own this music industry; you can not just demoralize Zambian artists simply because you think you have money. If you don’t shut up, your own contract might lead you to jail”, Afunika roared.
