Born in 1988, Mari Watanabe is a Zambian / Japanese uprising commercial model based in San Diego USA. ZambianMusic.net caught up with this beautiful sexy model and briefly this is what she told this website about her lifestyle and career.
My mother is a true Zambian while my dad is Japanese. I was born in Japan but later my family moved to Zambia where I was raised from up to the age of 7. I can never forget all the beautiful moments while in Chipata. How I miss that environment.
I am fluent in original Nyanja, Japanese and English languages. I am proud to be a Ngoni from Chipata. I can dig, cook Nshima and do anything like any other Zambian woman.
I attended Mwami Primary & Secondary Schools while in Zambia before continuing my higher education in Japan. I have lived 70% of my life in Japan and so I am used to anything related to Japan.
Mari told ZambianMusic.net that, she started modelling in 2010 while in Japan. In the year 2014, Mari moved to the United States Of America where she’s now into catering, modelling and at the same time enrolling at the School Of Cosmetology.
One thing I want to inform all my fellow Zambians, followers and friends is, don’t get afraid of negative comments from any one. Let’s embrace negativity because it’s part of today’s life and so we can not get rid of people with negative opinions. Remember, every opinion matters in showbiz – Mari told ZambianMusic.net
